Description

Shot out the motorhome window, somewhere south of Bridgeport, California October, 2013 If I were a cow, I'd want a view like this!! Of course it gets cold there, so it isn't all green grass and sunshine. As I recall, it got down to about 20F the last night we were there. Bill disconnected the hose, but in the morning we couldn't roll it up ... even with no water in it, the plastic was frozen solid! We had to wait for the hose to thaw out before we could take off. It's stuff like that that makes travel memorable. Oh ... that, and the scenery!! :P Zoom is bigger.

Fabulous, especially with the mountains looking mountainy a safe distance away. I just love the colours.

Looks lovely but I bet the cows will need a warm place in the winter.

Yes, with such a view it should be fine to be a cow, only, I am not that certain, they really appreciate it as much as we do :-) A perfect view in full size.

This is a breathtaking vista! A magnificent photo, Tara! I like that the cows give this a sense of scale - sometimes those mountains seem closer than they really are. I think the cows are perfectly happy just to have some grass to munch on. :-D

A superb place, yes! I like the point of view you choose making the mountains relatively low with respect to the rest of the terrain. M.

Indeed, so impressing in zoom, Tara, with all the different colours and the mood. I wouldn't have guessed it was that cold there, but I love your description, and thanks for share this fantastic (ahum, not the cold) memories. You will never forget this, huh? :)
