My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I could live with a view like that. Lucky cows.

Get shot - I love that stretch or US395.

Looks lovely but I bet the cows will need a warm place in the winter.

Zoom is bigger? Zoom is an absolute must! A spectacular image, the scenery is awe inspiring. All that and room to roam.

A stunning view! That's a proper travel shot! Taken out the window!

Yes, with such a view it should be fine to be a cow, only, I am not that certain, they really appreciate it as much as we do :-) A perfect view in full size.
RodS
This is a breathtaking vista! A magnificent photo, Tara! I like that the cows give this a sense of scale - sometimes those mountains seem closer than they really are. I think the cows are perfectly happy just to have some grass to munch on. :-D
bodo_56
Or a horse ... or a photographer 8=) A most beautiful landscape!
Myel
A superb place, yes! I like the point of view you choose making the mountains relatively low with respect to the rest of the terrain. M.

Indeed, so impressing in zoom, Tara, with all the different colours and the mood. I wouldn't have guessed it was that cold there, but I love your description, and thanks for share this fantastic (ahum, not the cold) memories. You will never forget this, huh? :)
