with the limited pov on this it would be very hard to say. a late 40's car maybe with that flathead 4. and is a dodge because of the mopar windshield washer container.

About all I could say is a pre 1956 chrysler product, flathead 6 went out in 59 and 6 volt batteries went out in 56. Cant see enough of the body but is probably a dodge or plymouth base model...just my guess from looking around photo... Nice capture...

I'll buy in with eekdog. Beyond that there isn't much to go on...could be a 40s or even early 50s model Plymouth/Dodge/Chrysler product. I see it still has the long gone cowl air scoop.

After an hour searching the web the closest I can get is a 1954 or 55 Dodge Royal and still only based on what others said in their comments and the shape of the fender and headlight chrome. Did learn a lot about the flat head 4 and 6 cylinder engines however!

Don't have a clue, but it's a cool shot of the (clean) engine! Has to be fairly old whatever it is.. Congrats on the AOM, Richard! Well deserved!

It has to be old because you can see the engine - not so with todays cars!
