wonderful play on imagery, a kind of visual optical illusion or pun...the woman on those stairs is a delightful play with the painting, and the painting itself feels like a door, as if it’s a portal to another age. It looks like the man in that painting is holding a palette, llke he’s creating art too. And there are 3 people-contrasts here: The people in the painting, the woman, and the viewers on the left---mixing styles, time periods, and mediums. And I love the guy in the painting, peering out at us: like we’re intruding on his world (which we are). I saw a critique on your lighting here (in a comment)---I’m in 2D and Photography, so I know nothing about 3D lighting. But I will say that museum lighting is multiple; so, in any spot, you’re likely to have several light sources playing out at once. In any case, a very playful take on a museum piece; with shades of surrealism and Magritte. (Here’s a perfect example of how Magritte plays with reality the way you did: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6f/BRX-mus%C3%A9e-magritte.2.JPG._ Very inventive work.
