Description

I very rarely get to see this species of Titmouse. They are very shy and skittish. Most titmice have a grey crest. This used to be considered a subspecies but was recently given its own species status. It has a very small range in this area of Texas and down into Mexico. Taken earlier in the spring. Preview is very soft. Best feather detail in zoom. Thanks very much for your views and comments.
