Description

...An Alien Invasion! Actually, I just caught these two sunning themselves next to a very artistic bridge in Millennium Park in Chicago (Frank Gehry's BP Pedestrian Bridge).

Actually, they fell asleep a mile away, but the ship's invisible tractor beam is slowly pulling them in so the alien's can study them. Great shot, Bill - love the way you composed & framed it to create a whimsical story around it...

Love the composition. While you were working on this I was on the telephone across the room at an angle, and had no idea what the picture was. Even so, I could see enough to thoroughly enjoy the composition. Seeing it head on is WAY better! A great shot! :*

LOL, their position looks like they just slide down the slanted side and stayed where they landed! Wonderful candid shot!

Excellent color, clarity and composition. I like the craft at the right. Terrific POV employed on this shot of the extraterrestrials, catching up on their sleep after negotiating millions of miles, at faster than light speeds, to visit our planet. And, rather than short creatures with large heads, almond eyes, tiny mouths, and six finger hands, they look just like us humans!

LOL! The first thing I thought was "How did they manage to sleep through that thing landing right next to them?" What a fun shot, Bill!

Obviously they haven't seen Invasion Of the Body snatchers, they fell asleep near a pod and are even now being changed into clones of themselves.. Oh no, wait.. They are called teenagers... Great shot, well caught mate.. By the way, post for you.. Rob
