Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Just beautiful Dana! I love graininess of old photos and it really captures all the twists and curves of the bridge, and the foreground is so rich :)

The foto may be old, but it gives a wonderful effect. That's the one view I've never seen--great shot and terrific perspective!!

Great shot Dana. It looks fantastic because of the foggy atmosphere. You are looking north, so if you make a left turn on the other end of the bridge you would be heading towards Mill Valley, am I correct? And a fantastic scan by the way.
danapommet
You are absolutely correct Sig - been through Mill Valley on the way to the Muir Woods another great place to visit!!!

I know that photo very well. And I've seen the bridge from this vantage point. And you are making me home sick. Sigh.... A right turn at the far end will bring you to the artist colony of Sausalito. Keep up the good work! :-)

WE always stop in Sausalito - my wife loves the shops on the waterfront.
