Description

This is a very belated birthday dedication to my hubby as Leo and I decided to have the flu on his birthday... and the next week. However: It*s that time again where I step on that road that seems to get longer and stonier with every image I create - what's makes it so special to me. Another poolgame series is waiting, I am already done with rendering No. 9 but the postwork takes a while as always as more as I meanwhile render in a wide of 7500 pixels to have something solid for prints. My inspiration for the queue-ball came to me in the shape of Goldy by StudioArtVartanian (hello Joana and thank your for this gem!!!). She looks so Basingeresque and has that speciasl peaches-and-cream appeal that she had to be the ivory-colored ball that starts the game. Technical: Beside some minor touchups most postwork went into the background made from brushes and styles that create a kind of glow. Because the background is white the glow show's up mostly where layers overlap. Just a hint for experiments. Rendered in PoserPro 2014 with all bells and whistles (IDL, SSS). In photoshop I created the painted look by adding several layers of the same render with screen and overlay and altered opacity. It may be strange on the first look to create a rendert as realistic as possible and then turn it "down" to a painted style - but I like the result!
