on your trip to the Mid-West of the US do you recall seeing prayer clothes hanging from trees? placed there by Native Americans where they consider the place to be sacred. the English does have a sense of humor!!

Colourful tree trunks Jeff :)

I wonder what the trees think? They are quite pretty, if not the most practical!

I saw similar trunk warmers at a flower shoe at Insel Mainau Germany with the difference that they were crocheted.

Someone put a lot of effort into these and they are quite pretty. I suppose someone could attach a religious meaning to decorating the trees. Are there Druids about?

These are popular over here too!

HAHA How funny this is and beautiful too. I dont feel tempted to create such things, though. Even if I had unlimited time :)

Wow, this is amazing, and I would love they did a kind of a knitting show in our area. You have looking your eyes out, I guess, Jeff.

Please tell me this isn't for real and just a Flower Show thing... Please tell me? My first thought was for the trees, then the wildlife that lives on them, then the poor sods who've got to pick up the soggy mess when it rains.. Pointless and indeed a waste.. Am I sad? Rob
