Description
This house in Little Venice, Bamberg, is special because of its facade made of shale. Those facades are very common in the area around Coburg, a town 40 km to the north, but in Bamberg it was the only one i've ever seen.
The geraniums, on the other hand, are very common throughout Bavaria and are a part of bavarian folklore 8=)

What a magical house this is! I love the texture of those shingles, and the red geraniums are special to me too because my grandfather used to grow them. A beautiful capture!!!

Ein schönes Haus, würde mich mal interessieren ob die Schiefer-Schindeln auch isolierend (momentan kühlend) wirken. Jedenfalls ein super Farbkontrast zu den Geranien. Klasse Foto, wunderschönes Licht! :o)
