My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I always think they have slipped out for a quick Fag / cigarette.

That's exactly what it looks like, it's very funny & it could be the basis for an entertaining "provide a caption" contest. The best I can come up with on the spur of the moment this late at night is "A little hug couldn't hurt, could it?"..

Or.....Attack of the Zombie cactus! Great title and even better image. A fantastic find. For some reason I get a black screen when I zoom.

Beautiful bloom and well seen and captured. Very accommodating for the birds and insects, I must say, and a lot safer.

"Come here and give me a hug!" LOL! I think I'll pass, even a handshake might be too much with this prickly creature! Wonderful shot!
beachzz
Ouch!!! Awesome shot, love the way you blurred most of them!!

Ahhhhh..... Can I just tip my hat and say hello? LOL Lovely as she is, a hug from her could be a thorny proposition. What a fun photo, Tara!
