What a beautiful composition ! The lute reminds me Evaristo Baschenis, a painter of the 17th century, who made many still lifes having as subjects musical instruments. The funny thing is that in the town where he was born and I live in, there 's a fine art museum called Accademia CARRARA, after the count Giacomo Carrara , Who started the collection about the first half of 1600. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/34/Baschenis%2C_Evaristo_~_Still_Life_of_Musical_Instruments%2C_1650%2C_oil_on_canvas%2C_Pinacoteca_dell%27Accademia_Carrara%2C_Bergamo.jpg
