Description

Scene from a music video clip for a very successful Australian band. I have been using as much Daz content as possible on this one. The characters have been reconfigured to match motion files. Additional animation by key framing and using both Kinect for Windows infrared and body sensor tech. Daz Carrara iClone Photoshop Thanks for taking a peek *PS before you make any comments about the hot teacher you should be aware it is me in a dress because I couldn't find any takers for the role. I'm thinking Golden Globe is in the bag Regards Johnny

I know how difficult it is to pose so many together. I have done it before. outstanding scene and idea

Thank you Richard unfortunately the posing for this end scene is to be considered the easy part as it is a Previz of the last frame of a 2000 frame sequence for where the credits roll. I will reverse animate all the characters and flip it so the end result they walk into school gym to line up and have their class photo taken. A career in still photography would have been a better choice.... I just know it. :-)

Holy frak...... 21 figures - you either composited in PS, or you've hijacked one of NASA's supercomputers..... Either way, awesome job on this delightful and fun render! No comments about the hot teacher, either... :-P The most I've managed in one render pass was last December with 12 figures (11 girls, 1 guy), a flying car, and a Victorian Village set. I thought my computer would blow up in my face, but it muddled through... I did manage 41 figures in one image a couple weeks ago, but it was about 6 separate renders composited in PS.

Thanks RodS 32 GB Ram and a 4GB GPU minimum is the go or its like picking at a sore tooth with a paperclip your just looking for trouble They are not all Daz proprietary based characters, that said I do like a challenge so watch this space PS was only used to black out band details on the blackboard as they have not made public the title of the song. Daz Characters vary widely in poly count something i did not really notice inside DAZ as you tend to be busy loading characters and props etc and having fun. If you dress, reconfigure and export a Genesis character compared to a Genesis 2 ie Gaming Development or Animation which I do regularly then you really do get a true poly reading and are in for a shock. Genesis are massive in comparison to G2 in some cases I could squeeze 3 G2s to 1 G1 in a scene depending on wardrobe of course. If your going for the Guinness Book Of Records keep that in mind on your next render Naked even more just don't forget your CA on upload :-)

2000 frame sequence - bet that took some time to render, with or without 32 Gig of ram :)

Hi longprong My clips are usually finished 16-20'000 frames a piece and I throw away around 120'000 frames in edit. I could never finish a clip completely in Daz Studio in it's current form as the band would die of old age waiting, so its only Build-Previz then export for animation. My render times are all over the place stills 15 minutes to 2 Hours if I really load it up to 1.5 to 2 million poly count can take longer Animation render 10 minutes per 30 seconds to 5 hours per 30 seconds depending on particles, water, materials HDR etc A scene with a 750 - 1 Gb file size can be about as stable as a three legged goat on the booze
