Description

Madrone limbs that were left after crews did some thinning (for fire mitigation) on the hill behind my former property in the Applegate. This was on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land that was directly adjacent to my property. Please zoom.

Yes & there were several large piles like this, but unfortunately, it was on a steep hillside that was inaccessible to vehicles & not practical to haul down in quantity.

Wonderful photo of this fine wood. My grandma would've made some very nice dried flower/weed arangements with these branches. I miss her.

Beautiful shot of this pile of wood; the zoo loves that wood for the macaws, who make toothpicks out of their perches on a daily basis and need renewing constantly. The textures and colour tones here are wonderful!
