Description

Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Wings3D/Photoshop A more postworked approach with this one, more the direction I plan to go in for future images. This involved using some aircraft wreck images as custom brushes for extra detailing on engine and wing debris, along with dodge/burn tool work and hand-painting.Stars,grafitti tags, dust, signature and birds are also postwork. The complex combines elements from a set from Cornucopia, along with platforms created in Wings3D and 2D Panes(re-using materials from the set for continuity). The other structures and the wing and engine are also Wings creations, the other debris are parts from Barry Marshall's Pipes and Ducts set.The cables are from Jacob Dietz's Urban Jungle sign set.Michael 3 Reduced Resolution with Slayer outfit and Nomad vehicle from Daz3D. Customized Evening Physical atmo with a 2D Planet added, global radiosity used. Thanks for viewing and for any comments! Forgot to mention: There are also corrugated metal sheets from my friend Gabriel Montagudo(Kanaa) in the debris in foreground...thanks Gabe!

Excellent! The post work is really good. Great scene. Has a Tatooine feel to it for me.

I have to agree, the post-apocalyptic look and atmosphere are very much that flavor. Great image and a very well composed scene. 5+

Interesting you're thinking of developing the post work side. I've been following a few concept artist channels on YT and have been thinking the optimal route is a mixture of 3D and 2D CG.

You seem to have been gone for a couple of years, but I am going to speak to you anyway. Thank you so much for describing all that makes up your wonderful and inspiring images. I’Ve been looking up everything I can find, and now have a couple of Kanaa’s great models on my wishlist, awaiting my budget. 🙂

And have saved links to the various free softwares you have mentioned. I’m going thru your Gallery, with great awe and pleasure. Thanks again for explaining what you do. I’m off to gasp and exclaim at your next panorama. 😻
