Description

In Trafalgar Square, London there are 4 plinths in each corner..three occupied by historical worthies and the 4th was saved for William IVth , but the money ran out! The latest statue unveiled in March 2015 and is the work of Hans Haacke...said to be 'a very contemporary comment on the connections between power,money and history which go to the heart of what London is as a city' and there you have it!

That's as naked power can get! Nice photo. When I was in London 20 years ago (MY, time flies!) I wondered why one plinth was empty. So now I know. Good photo. Nice with the sky through the rib cage. Keep up the good work! :-)

Wow, whatever happened to the Grim Reaper, who should have been astride this well silhouetted steed? Love the pose and ribcage. Great shot, and interesting history on the plinths and environs.
