Description
Every generation brings change. Haystacks give way to hay bales. Hay bales give way to something that looks like shredded wheat biscuits. At some point a tractor with metal prongs attached to the front will come by and skewer the 'biscuits' through the middle and take them off to a truck.

I liked the idea of shredded wheat biscuits and in my youth, we pitch forked the cut up into a truck!

the changing face of harvesting, i remember stooks in the fields near home in Wiltshire, my dad used to help out a farming friend in the evenings after a full days work, i remember him coming home exhausted and then up on his bicycle to travel 12 miles to work, i miss my Dad so much, he died about six years ago.

I remember seeing haystacks. I guess they're hard to move around, though. :P Traveling around, we see lots of different ways they treat hay. It's always interesting!
