Description
Greetings Folks,
Remember those shots from certain era's where squadrons lined out for an airborne shot.. No, I didn't.. lol
This was a bad shot, I missed the tail of the second Gladiator then had an idea..
And this came out..
Zoom is on!
Enjoy
Rob
P.S. Harry as far as I know AKVIS is not the same as Photosharp..
And Michael? In the U.K. Loco's used wheel numbers e.g 4-6-4
America uses the same mainly because most of their earlier engines were built here! lol

Another great shot Rob.

Heck, I barely remember when we had squadrons (plural)! Another fine shot of the Gladiators. It's funny - I like the aluminum dope finish on the interwar biplanes... but on the later planes that actually had metal skin... it looks boring.

Thanks for the reply re locos wheel classifications in the UK. Sweden bought all it's early locos from Britain, but counts axles, which is why I wondered. Did you mean to say here that you got the plane's tail outside the photo, and then stitched on a tail from another photo? Good job if I've understood you right! I've done some similar retouching on anatomy photos to correct something or remove something distracting. It's easier with a plane or ship, but very demanding with anatomical structures (shapes, colors). Keep up the good work. This was fun t see! :-)

An absolutely outstanding shot, Rob! Those magnificent men in their flying machines… This is seriously excellent photography, mate!

This is seriously good...I've lost count of the number of tails and props I've missed in a fly bye....These may not be jets but they do ' move ' and catching two to lined up 'aint easy, so once again "seriously good".....
