Description

Yesterday, I got a phone call telling me that Five Spits had just left Humberston Airport for a tour which would include Lincoln City then across country to other towns in a rough circle. I had 10 minutes to get to a point near Gainsbolrough in Lincolnshire to catch them as they flew over. I live six miles away so I got a move on and arrived at a point where I could see them over Scampton, then they arrived at my chosen position. I got eighteen shots altogether. 2000 feet, one and half miles away, speed between 250 and 300 mph. This one was when they were opposite, then they were gone. Forever! God bless Canon's L type lenses! (70-200mm) rat.
