Description

From our garden today a Hornet Mimic Hoverfly, a different one to the one posted a couple of days ago - that one had a ragged wing!! I managed several reasonable shots of this one which I might bore you with !! It is resting on a Zinnia.

Another hoverfly imposter? I wonder how many of these fellows get swatted because people think they are wasps? This is an excellent capture and I doubt you can bore me with more of them.
