Welcome to my homepage.I work primarily with , DAZ Studio and Carrara. I also use Hexagon, Vue, and C4D. PSP and CS2 for post work. Recently, I've begun study in Lighwave. My goal is to achieve the best realism in my renders with the tools I have. I love creating scenes of varying kinds: Scifi, everyday life, and portraits. I love creating characters and do alot of work there and aim at improving every time I sit infront of the computer.I've been working with poser (and originally Bryce) and mainly Carrara forĀ 10 years or so and hope I've made some improvements. Still have so much to learn.
I am inspired by and grateful for the many other artists here.

Great idea for a scene also. My Victoria hasn't been rock climbing yet. ;-) I've tried some experimentsort with the Daz / Iraq lately, but I haven't got results as good as this. The sky is very realistic. I think I need to watch some tutorials, I can't even get a basic sky yet ;-)

Oops..auto correct. Should be Daz / Iray

Also, you can get luxrender for Carrara to look similar to both of the other examples and you can also use just Carrara if you want, as PhilW recently showed.

Carrara's native render is pretty amazing as it is. been using it for 10 years and loved most of my results. Loving these new engines too. fun to do all.

Interesting results. I kind of prefer the Reality render-- a little richer color. That's especially interesting considering Reality uses Lux.

Thanks! I like all three, but certainly the easiest to set up my scenes is IRAY so far, but DAZ Studio does lake the ease to manipulate meshes, but clothes fit better there. With Hexagon to export and adjust meshes, that is a viable work around. That it doesn't have Dynamic Hair like Carrara is another downfall, but the renders themselves, in all three, do strike me as better than most of the Carrara ones. But I a sucker for Light.

All good, though not as similar as you may expect given that they are all supposedly unbiased!

Agreed. And for some thing, Carrara'a renderer is just as good. Depends on the scene and set up.
