Description
This render depicts the arrival of the first "Bristol Boxkite" at Langley Airfield in Langley, Berkshire, South East England. The Bristol Boxkite (the Bristol Biplane) was based on the Farman III pusher biplane built in 1909 by English/French designer Henri Farman. There are no original Bristol Boxkite aeroplanes surviving today, although three authentic flyable reproductions were built by the F.G. Miles group in 1965 for the film "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines".
This is a very old render I made back in 1910 with Vue 0.001. I made the computer myself from mahogany wood with a steam powered CPU and a cast iron graphics card.
Biplane model by poceluev60 at the 3D Warehouse.
Made with Vue and lots of Photoshop.
Cheers! :-)
