Description

Henry Ford produced more than 15 million Model T's between 1908 and 1927. All radiators were made of brass until early 1916. Can you imagine needing to shine up your radiator before going out on the town? lol This is a very early Model T...note the gas lamp. Gas lamps were replaced with electric lights in 1910.

What a beauty. My last 3 cars have been Ford's, but just this week I have changed to a new STI.

Cool POV and ambiance in this shot of the Model-T nose, Bill.
I wonder if there was a spray around at that time which would prevent oxidation of the brass. Now that I think of it, I still had to polish up the brass on my belt and elsewhere when I was in the Army, and that was several years after 1916. And, they were manufacturing Model-T's during WWI? That's no way to run a war.

This is such an excellent photo in every way. The shiny brass, the POV and the fun facts. My grandma learned to drive in one of these.

Beautiful brass tones & reflections - this isn't just a car - it's a work of art that a lot of care & skill went into...
