Description

Magic Flute Inspired by 'The Ouverture' of 'Zauberflote' (Magic Flute) by Wolfgang A. Mozart (more info on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Amadeus_Mozart thuoght it isn't rare to find some other info on pages in german, french and spanish languages. It would be a good habit to read wikipedia articles in more than our own language when possible to have a comprehensive knowledge of the matter). In the picture you can also see an extract of the flutes score. Politics, finance, social networks, news and news bulletin themselves, religions, philosophies, science, literature, art and more... there are so many charmers (or enchanters, the meaning is similar but not equal) in this world! Anything and anyone can be source of words, opinions, knowledges, laws, patriotism and unfortunately fanatism too, and so on. But there are some sources privileged than others, and to much often not by real value but convenience or other unsuitable reasons. It is not a matter of difference between opinion and truth (there are also too many truths!), rather the frequent confusion (sincerely or not) between these. There are so many interests and conveniences behind things that is difficult to make distinctions. Both the source and is for all of us, that we are daily overwhelmed by the words. We can do things with goodwill or be guided by the convenience and egoism. Really each choice, good or bad, is legitimate. These are difficult, confused and uncertain times.  Let us remember that the future of our children will be determined by the things we say (and do) today. We can follow the wave of words that enchant or think with our head. Let it be the good will, men and words, to prevail. In the long run we will all of us to gain advantage. I have to remember that because post limitations I had to reduce the size and weight of the figure. I tried to limit as far as possible the degradation of the image.

Beautiful work. I also enjoyed reading your comments. All ages are in fact an "Age of Confusion". There is always distractions, diversions, the general clutter of thoughts, ideas, opinions, beliefs, that abound about us and would bombard our psyche. It is easy, if one listens too long to the babbling, to lose one's way, one's focus, ones purpose - be it in art, in life, in all that one would strive to do or accomplish. This is why ultimately a person must come to have trust, faith, belief in that single voice that resounds most true inside themselves and stay focused on the path they lay before their feet. :)

This looks like it's (at least partly) hand-drawn. If it is hand-drawn, I stand in awe of your drawing ability. :)

Have to say the very first thing I think of when seeing this image is the Hindu god Krishna, who is often depicted playing a flute. Like Orpheus, he bewitches the whole world with his music, hence all the people behind him who seem to be dancing.

As I see it, Ultimate Reality is ineffable, so none of the countless narratives found in the human world can ever tell the full story. Each tells only a part of the story and tells it in a special way. Ultimate Reality is knowable; it's just ultimately not expressible in words and concepts.

This doesn't make all the narratives worthless. Each of them can still be seen as a work of art.

Just voicing some thoughts of mine. :)

I'm interested in history for a simiar reason, a lot can be read about the present by how the past is told and retold through the words of modern "charmers". Excellent upload as always.

Neat inspired work Whylma, sorry about not commenting sooner, the site is very hard to navigate and no ebots is really bad. Yeah, the things we do today will surely affect the future...for good or bad...lets hope we get it right for children's sake. Cheers
