Description

We took a short holiday in the Lake District and although the weather was rubbish dark clouds and raining I did manage to get some half decent pictures. We had a meal in a pub the last one they served that night , torrential rain and thunder and lighting equalled one flooded kitchen. I cant say I like the new site I've made a couple of attempts to upload this picture and It took ages to find the links to photos, I thought there was something wrong with my email when they stopped , If the super brains that thought up the site want to change things so much please let us know what they have done and can we have a delete button or tick box on the activity pictures so we can mark the ones we have commented on.

Well done , Alan, you managed it!
A stunner of a landscape pic, what a view! I think the dull weather enriches the tones.
The weather people said we had almost the entire rainfall for August here yesterday in one day, mostly in the space of two hours.

I know that many people have asked for that delete facility you mention, including Helle and me . They are gradually responding to our many and various requests.
Hang on in for now.
