Description

OK it's been a VERY long time since i posted. But with good reason. Around May 14th, I got Strep Throat that settled in my Right Ear. on May 28th it exploded from the inside out,,,, after rushing to the ER, the Dr, confirmed my ear drum ruptured from the inside. went to an ENT specialist, after 2 weeks of Antibiotics, it was worse. so he put me on VERY strong IV antibiotics, 7 days later, it was even Worse. so at 11 AM he took a CAT SCAN, and saw that the infection had eaten up my bone from the Middle ear to the top of my skull, by 5:30 i was in surgery to remove & drill out the infection from the Bone of my middle ear up my skull. He said about 3 Cubic inches in all: that was July 2, it's Aug 26th and it's NOT GONE. I guess 22,000 people in the USA die from this every year. With out the surgery I would have many lasted a few more days. ( so he said ). as it only take a tiny pin hole through your skull into your brain and it's OVER... one drop of infection to your brain is terminal. needless to say. it's not been a fun ride. Besides the ridiculous intense non stop PAIN, the Ringing is beyond belief, and drowns out most all i hear, loosing about 80% of my hearing, on the right, ( luckily I still have ONE good ear. lol. for a guy that is NEVER sick, or sickly, I'm just not used to feeling this way. SO : all that is left is prayer, is some luck, and hopefully the good kind of luck, I feel like I've had enough Bad luck to last a while. Trying not to lose my sense of humor, or my appreciation for Life and Beauty... but what a Bitch! I found this girl: that I thought i posted a while back. I like the way she looks at me... it's like she's saying, You'll make it : or you'll join me in cyber-land.

Gorgeous image! Love the natural look of the pose and the sultry expression. MAJOR BUMMER on the ear/bone problems. I hope it gets better soon. I admit that I don't listen to most of what is going on around me but that would not be the way I'd choose to tune it out. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you won't need any more surgery.
