Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

I am so sorry to see this. I'm going to miss seeing her when I visit. Her nightly visits were a joy. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I would reach out and give her a scratch before dozing back off. I felt very privileged to have such a sweet guardian watching over my sleep. She could not have been more fortunate in her choice of people to live with. She got to experience a lot in your travels and all at a pace she could enjoy in her later years. She always seemed very happy with her lot. I am sorry for your loss. She was a real sweetie.

Goodbye to a very lucky and much loved lady. What a great age she reached, and with such dignity with the aid of her stroller!
This is a fascinating photo, with your reflection mysterious in the black.

Sorry to hear about this, Bill. A very unusual shot - looks kind of like a montage of three photos...

She was a sweet little lady, and she had a long life filled with love. She will live in your hearts and memories until you meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. You and Tara are in our thoughts and prayers, Bill.
I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet her :-)

She had a great time that day, napping under the piano, under the end table, on the couch. I love the way this shot came out, with you reflected in the side of the famous piano.
Everything else I could say I've already said in person. :X

bill, my comment in tara's gallery was for both of you...for some reason her image came up first in my listings...but this is another beautiful shot of Mandy, just being Mandy, and near that glorious piano that has become famous here on RR. I know she went back in your life to her beginnings; and through so much change in your life, incl watching your family grow, loss, finding Tara, moving and marrying, and seeing places all over this huge country. So I know this has to hit very deep inside you. Great dogs are great gifts, and I wish you blessings and light as you carry her presence inside of you and tara, and watch her live on as a glow...many blessings to you both again, she was a very dear soul and boy did she have a marvelous and gifted life...

Seventeen is very old for a dog but it reflects the love and care you and Tara gave her. She had her looks even at the end, such a cute girl. I am very sorry for your loss.
