Description

just playing around with effects. An apology to all: you may have noticed that my commenting is sporadic at best. I will try to do better. this change in format at this site as well as other considerations have made things interesting to say the least. Add to this the end of the month reports at work that have more things to include. AND, hunting season is about to jump out at us - I'm scrambling to find my gear as I really, REALLY need to get away for a while. not to mention the reports that have to be completed... there have been times where I just want to chuck it all and go off the grid. So, Once again I offer my apologies to all of you fine artists. Mike PS - it's elk season and I've got my bow ready!

Love the filter Play. Yes, sometimes grows to one so much over the head. I wish you a nice hunting season!

LOL ! Wonderful setup and humor Mike. No apology necessary Mike, I believe all of us get into this rut some time or other. Sure hope you can get away, sounds like you need some R & R to clear the fog. It really is quite a bit of work to get to all the favs. without the email notifications. Think of you often and wish you all the very best. Happy Hunting !

I've been away a lot, so you certainly don't have to apologize for absences. You give 1000 percent when you're here, and that's more than enough...Re this shot, I love how you turn objects, nature, etc, into images that could be microscopic studies, abstracts, freaked-out visions, cosmic views, etc. This is marvelous. I can see stones for sure, but it could also be platelets in the bloodstream, microscopic captures of cells, microscopic sea creatures competing for space and food, or an aerial view of plates of earth jostling about in water or on land. It's got a wonderful "process" feel to it. And I love the green, gray and purple hues (and some others thrown in), as well as the stark white outlines. More creative transformation from you, and I hope it was prelude to a great break for you. Love the shot. It's a sidewalk for mitochondria or nucleotides, or whatever biochemical beings have sidewalks. Wonderful work. (Forgive the lack of fav's, they don't always show up in people's "notifications," we can no longer write a short text with them, and sometimes they don't even show up in MY lists, so until they get that worked out, I'm leaving them off for a bit. But this would be a fav, for sure.)
