I thought I was running out of tips and tricks for you, but the Powers That Be gave us a new feature I thought was worth mentioning.
They've changed the way you do bold and italics and make links, but they're now given us buttons to help us along! These buttons are in comment boxes and forum threads, but not in your image description.
If you look at the blank comment box below this image (you know ... the one where you're going to tell me you never would have guessed this was a Studebaker or something) you'll see four little boxes.
If you want to BOLD something, highlight the word(s) you want in bold, and click the B button.
If you want to italicize something, highlight the word(s) you want to italicize and click the I button.
If you want to make a live link to another page, go to that page, right click the address and click "copy," and come back here and paste the address in the comment box. Now highlight the address and click the button that looks like two links of a chain. (It's a LINK ... get it?)
The fourth button allows you to post an image in the comment box. Click the box, browse for the image you want in your files, and click "open." Please bear in mind, however, that this cute little trick might result in you sort of co-opting the artist's thunder, so it would be MY preference that this be used sparingly. I mean ... if you want to post a picture, put it your own gallery, right? You must use your own judgment, though. I'm only telling you how to use the feature, it's not my place to tell you how to run your life.
Unfortunately there aren't any of those little boxes in the "Upload Art" description box! I'll be sure to mention it to the programmers. They're probably sick of hearing from me, but that's not on the list of stuff that keeps me awake at night.
..........
If you want to share these tips with other people you know here on RR, please feel free. What I want is for people to understand and learn some of the navigation tools. Here are links to the tips I've posted so far. Well ... they're not links. You'll still have to copy/paste if you want to see these tips again. I'm off to go bother the programmers again and ask them to give us a few more tools where we need them!

Thanks for following along! I hope these tips have been helpful. If I come up with more, or if I see something has been updated, I'll let you know.

Well I never would have guessed this was a Studebaker or something. Nice shot and thanks for the tips.

A very sleek behind, it's easy to understand why blokes stroke cars.
But I wonder why they kick tyres?
Thankyou for the very helpful instructions, Tara. I should love to be able to edit comments without starting again.
Ps I can't make the italic box etc work on my iPad ! I get a little dash either end of the word instead. But worse things happen at sea as they say.

Love your minimalistic shot and thanks for the RR update Tara.

Great advice and it's VERY kind of you to try to help everyone understand the new changes, Tara. The four text boxes are kinda like gmail and that's a good thing, but it would help if it were on the upload page as well. Great detail on the car trunk. LOL at Andrea's comment.
I tried to change my avatar. Made the image 200x200 and uploaded it in the edit profile section and it said "Success, your profile is updated" but..... where the profile picture was chosen at the top it said "No File Selected". Sigh. Haven't been to the forums yet to see if maybe there is a file size limit on KB.

Great shot !

What a beautiful behind... of a Studebaker. They were not much into light yet at that time :)
Thank you so much for all your important info, Tara. You are really doing a great job helping us. Thank you :D

Marvelous photo! My Mother's first car was a maroon Studebaker with horsehair seats. It was ugly as sin and we loved it.
P.S. When you talk to the PTB, remind them about the special characters that other languages need. There are a LOT of people in other countries that are members of Rendo and they are feeling a little slighted and rightly so. Thanks.

Stunning capture Tara.
I have updated my Avatar with your help Tara.
Thank you for the avatar tip and the tips that you have shared tonight.
God bless.

I love the slope of the trunk/boot on this particular model; what a beautiful car! And of course your intimate view of this curve ;)
