I live among herring gulls in Great Yarmouth UK. I have taken a lot of photos of them as since moving here ive found a great fondness for the comical, vandalising, thieving but such caring and dutiful parents. Ive had the good fortune to watch a mother and father look after the eggs and then the infants. The tenderness of both parents is wonderful although a bit harsh at times. The parents constantly renewing their relationship as they bring up these tiny fluffball constantly hungry babies. Your oil paintings are so real to me i actually thought this a photo
