Description

Jerome, Arizona October, 2013 An old International truck, full of texture and detail. When I take pictures of old vehicles, I always draw on my "inner moochagoo" for inspiration. He's been doing this sort of shot for a long time, and has been one of my biggest influences. Thanks, Philippe! :) ............... It's a three-day weekend here in the States, so I'm giving the RR staff a break for a few days. :P I've got a list I'm working on, and before we leave on our next trip, I'll make sure I hit all the high points with them. Our internet connection will be sporadic (or perhaps nonexistent) beginning on Wednesday and going for about three weeks, but we'll be back on line whenever we can. :) I'll probably post a couple more pictures before we go. I don't think I'll be THAT busy getting ready!

Love this shot Tara and must say that the light looks as if it could do another turn !!

Have a good trip the both of you.

Did you know that if you make a mistake or want to change your comment, all you have to do is bin what you have written and start again but if you want to add, you might want to copy and paste what you have already written !

I just did it to add this note !!

Glad we don't have textured paint like this on our car. Doesn't do much for the resale value:) But makes for a fascinating photo.

I hate to see classic cars in this condition but it does make for a fantastic image. BTW - this is a fantastic image. Have a safe trip and write if you see anything interesting.

Great closeup, but then you have always been good at picking and composing interesting closeups.

Very nice capture. Looks like you were wondering around an old farmers field.

Oh, that eye looking at me, is magnificent, as it's textures, rust, and the 'peeling' of his white skin. Indeed this has character, as Mrs Ratbag already wrote.
