When you came back after the summer was over, I'd been absent for a while. I'm back for 2 comments in each gallery, as I can't do more right now. But it's not easy to comment on just "2" of your images, since you've posted a number of beautiful images since returning. So know that I like all the others just as much!
This woman stands against an aqua blue-green design that looks like something from Music manuscript. It contains elements from the "treble" sign, and the "bass" sign. It also has calligraphy in it, the kinds of decoration that Medieval monks drew around their initial (capital) letters. And, like all your line-work, it moves gracefully and sweepingly. And it moves "with" the woman's body---ie, it has all kinds of turns and twists where her body thickens...and it's spare and sparse where her body thins-out. It's a beautiful piece of line art, and it's so nice to see your brush work too.
The woman is in a fascinating, expressive pose: She faces one way while her body faces the other. Or so it seems. Your stylized face is as expressive as ever, and even the top of her hair faces one direction...You have your usual balance between one side of the body and the other---where one part of her bulges one direction, while the other bulges in another direction. And her legs fan-out across space, like the paths of long galaxies...and they wind up at the bottom, flaring out in a gracious stance, with one heel touching the bottom curve of the blue-green line. It's all is set to one side of this big white field, with the line-design reaching to the other side, as balance. A graceful and very expressive image; and, as always, very classy and sweeping. And the reds against the blacks are very effective too. Wonderful, Yves.

Oh I missed this one when you posted it as I wasn't online. This might very well be my favourite, or at least is right up there among them. The design is just phenomenal. Beautiful, beautiful work, Yves! :)
