Description
Captured back on 5/26/11, a beautiful Blacktip Reef Shark routinely skims the surface of the vast Shark Lagoon, just one of the several features of the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific, in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Most ZOOM worthy.
An oppressive 108.3 Fahrenheit/42.39 Celsius degrees registered in my patio today between 1 and 1:45 pm. Maybe I should trade places with the shark.

Beaytiful shark shot, Harry. Yes i am sure you envy the sharks its cool place to live right now. OMG 42 degrees. That is what we had in the patio beofr we got another roof on it. We first had a 3 layer Plast roof. We tried to use a tarpaulin abd cane down to 38. That was still too hot. The new roof made it bearable to sit there in warm summer days, but I prefare it even cooler. I am glad to say, that the tree we got trimmed last autumn, is really growing to be super good shade again :)
