very nice...scan gives a bit more utility to volumetrics, and really,in space do we have shadows, never bit there so I wouldn't know...heh heh heh,and scan in Imagine is really nice to .itx's I find..keep it up

I like the picture, and the model is great, but, the lack of shadow casting detracts from the overall image. Can you use 'Darkons' in IFW, like you can in IFA- that might be a way around it. Though, they would have to be placed very carefully!

True Kevin, those are scanline pictures, mmade in about 1 minute rendering. Trace is definitively longer, like 3 hours. I tried one and I got the shade of the spaceship on the planet! So now the big parallele light, the sun, casts no shadow but there is a solution: render the planet and spaships separately, with a casting light and in trace.

Nice one, a bit dark and shadows would be a plus. Also, With resolution so low it makes it a bit "edgy", have you tried the render large/resize image in software afterwards to remove those sharp edges?

Dhurgan, it's 1024X768 but antialiasing is probably not as high it should be. Or I might reduce the size to 800X600, which best fits the renderosity gallery anyway. I hate to scroll to view the all picture. Thanks for comments.
