Description

At first I thought the two flares in the left corner were from the Perseid meteor shower and shouted to my brother who ran to his camp to fetch his binoculars. Peering at them through the binoculars he advised they were contrails of jets. Later that night sitting around a campfire and swatting away mosquitos & having a couple of ales we did in fact witness the Perseid meteor show but I did not have my camera handy. Nice cloud formations, do see the trails on left. Would have loved the meteor shower but not the bugs. Beautiful photo my friend.

Beautiful color & light in this rural landscape. That mound with scraps of lumber & yellow flowers makes for a strange & interesting focal point at the center of that area of mown grass & I also like the car peeking out from behind the barn...
