Description

I took several shots of this sunset before I was able to get one with a gull crossing over the sun. As usual, I didn't have my tripod with me, which made it a little more challenging. In my original exposure, the grasses in the foreground had very little detail & were almost a silhouette - I used several different filters in Perfect Effects to bring out the detail hidden in the image... The mood and atmosphere that surrounds this photo almost cries out for a story. The inclusion of the semi-detailed foreground really adds to the shot.
