My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

This is really fine work. Superb layering and a perfect quote to go with the image. The more I look at this the more I like it but what were you doing in the middle of the mandala?

Wonderful work; you've created a marvelously moody atmosphere and caught the sense of peace that I'm sure is manifest there. Well done!

May I simply say amen? You've done a fine composite piece here. The sum of the visual and written parts add an ethereal touch that I felt here. Very well expressed! xx

Stunning capture Tara. God bless.

Perfectly done, and I am transported there. I shall pass on the words to my daughter in law who could do with assimilating them.

Wonderful composition and quote. I would have never guessed it was 5 images. Very well done, Tara!

A very serene image. I would have guessed that it was a composite of just the two obvious images - you made the transitions natural & seamless. I wasn't sure about the significance of the "Green Tara" you mentioned, so I looked it up & found that she's the "Buddha of enlightened activity" & that there are several other "Tara" buddhas of various colors, all with very admirable qualities. A very propitious name your parents gave you, Tara...

Very well done. I wish young people would read this... and a few older people.

if a person reads those words and is not moved, then surely his heart is missing and his soul is black with hate
