Description
Captured back on 5/12/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.
Lovely Legg Lake, being so large, is actually separated into three parts, this particular section used mostly for some kind of sports activity, such as operating model motorboats. The chap here has just retrieved a motorboat and is returning it to the owner, who is remote operating from a mini wharf. And I do have photos of the speedsters themselves in action languishing in my files. Anyway, Denise likes all sorts of boats - just as long as they float - so I thought I would dedicate this shot to her.
