My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Oh, I like being put in the same class with the old boy's special collection. This old Studebaker pick-up and the older still K-R-I-T Motor Company of Detroit car in the background are rare finds indeed.
Happy Anniversary today and I am looking forward to many more:) xx

It won't last... said no one ever. Congratulations on your five year milestone. I remember visiting you just two days before you ran off and tied the knot. What a great way to celebrate, on the road. I haven't heard the name Studebaker in years and this is a wonderful anniversary gift. Its a great looking car.

I'll skip the poor humor I stuck into my comment on Bill's image, though believe me, comparing your husband to a really old car takes a lotta guts! But I get it---it's a beauty, special, rare, and, in this shot, blazing red, meaning filled with glow and passion. And with that oh-so-slim and chic "S" on the grill---something out of a 30s Art Deco display!---it also captures Bill's class. The deep shadow in the shot makes the highlights of the car (or truck) really come forward. Yet the grill is in enough shadow to give it mystery. And I love that you included an old car front in the background---really fascinating addition. (The Studebaker keeps fine company.) And you know what? The stuff on the ground looks like dubloons! (Dubloons? Is that the right word? It looks like pieces of gold! I realize it's not, but it makes a sweet addition to your valentine for Bill!)
Love the crop and shadow, and your words are wonderful. Happy Anniversary to you both, and many, many more. Two beautiful uploads from you both...and the "S" on the grill is just perfect. Class, chic-ness, and a bit of dance thrown in for wildness.
(Btw, when we were kids, we used to think that "Studebaker" was "Stu the Baker". Not funny or terribly interesting, but I don't get to pull that out too often, so I shared it...)

Spectacular cherry red paint job & elegant grill. That "S" almost looks like a neon tube. Congratulations to you & Bill...

Oh, is this a fantastic glowing, and posh Studebaker for this big feast of love. I see you two for me in it, first you went together to a drive in cinema, hugging and kissing, afterwards you make a 'love-parade with it, by listening your favourite romantic music, and then a fancy dinner for two. Anyway, I know I'm late (again) by wishing you both, many, many more years of love.
