Description

I walked in the early morning on the cliffs above the beach at Bandon. It was chilly & damp with dew & the shore & ocean below were shrouded in fog. I only encountered one other walker (with her dog) up there & even when I descended to the beach, there were only a couple of other people out that early. Being a city resident now, I enjoyed the solitude... Please zoom.

I like the way the world disappears in this shot. Yesterday when we got to the Old Faithful parking lot I went into a bit of overwhelm at the sheer number of cars and people. It was like being at the mall. We didn't even stop ... there was no way to get out of there fast enough! Camping in RV parks means we're seldom around more than a couple dozen people at once, and it's easy to get used to that lifestyle!

Another beautiful facet of being around a coast...fog. You've established the atmosphere and mood here very well. Hard to take meaningful pictures of fog...but you did it:)
