oh, a beautiful abstract of leaves and light, all gathered together in a dance. Beautiful reds and yellows, the slabs of intense sunlight are buttery, the stems---and pine needles too? (Bill suggests that)---make a wonderful pastiche; and your 'in medias res' pov puts us right into the middle of it all, and intensifies the activity here, as well as how intense leaves can be. Deep shadows too. Beautiful work: You've done other leaf gatherings too, and you always capture the intense energies they create, when you do them. Makes me long for fall colors...
