Just a leaf on a pole in the still very green forest we visited Monday.
I changed the title, as now I am not sure it is goutweed on the forest bottom :)

Autumn is here too soon. Those small leaves look a bit like buttercups, do you know the Latin name?

Well, Andrea, now I am not so sure it is goutweed anymore. I was totally sure before :-P But buttercups I am almost sure it isnt. I dont think they live in a darker part of the forest. So I am not sure what it is now :) They are covering the forest bottom like a blanket.

It's like here, the forest is still totally green. Here and there one finds leaves with autumn colors. Excellent shot!

Terrific composition and contrast in this overhead shot of the veined variegated leaf, Helle. And never heard of goutweed. Autumn has made its entrance here with another 35 Celsius day. This may never end.
