a precious capture, soft and expressive, and with real detail in the open petals all the same. Centered as it is, it looks as if it literally bloomed on the page: The absence of any visible stem or under-leaves makes it look like it bloomed in the air. The bokeh of the leaves makes a gentle backdrop. This is a beautiful rose photo, with very gentle patina and texture...
