Description
The Thals get nasty; in the Doctor Who TV series the Thals were originally portrayed as pacifists who literally would struggle with hurting a fly. This was given as a reaction to a nuclear war. In later stories the Thals more assertive, if not downright militaristic natures came to the fore. This is seen as a reaction to fighting an enemy as implacable as the Daleks.
