Description
Arriving back at The Plant I set off to find Tailspin, it wasn't too difficult, my first hunch, the canteen, proved right. I explained my problem and the urgency of the situation, Tailspins response was instant, " what's in it for me ? " he asked. " We'll need the 'Jolly Green Giant' " I answered. Tailspin was on his feet and heading out the door before I'd finished, he's the only one qualified enough and daft enough to fly TB2.We made our way to the Super Heavy Industrial Transport hanger and within five minutes we were on our way. I had to ask, " What happened to the ' Jolly 'GREEN' Giant ' ?" Tailspin shrugged, " I prefer red, so I had Stan paint it for me" he replied. I couldn't argue with him, I've never known how this thing stays in the air, a bit like a bumble bee, I'm sure it's only Tailspins belief in the thing that keeps it up.If that belief requires it to be red, then so be it. My thoughts were interupted as we arrived at the scene, as Tailspin lowered the grab I dropped through the lower hatch into The Duckpond and began my descent.....

Jolly Green Giant is now Red Thunderbird 2. Cool looking contraption! And, after all the odd things happening with Tailspin, you trust him with this mission (impossible?). Or, maybe for this time, it's mission possible? The suspense is mounting. Keep up the good work! :-)

A red thunderbird 2- whatever next! It's always been a mystery to me how we all knew TB2 to be green before we had a colour TV- must have been good merchandising. Loving this story- what could possibly go wrong with this scenario I wonder!
