Description

Harvest "Blood Moon" Eclipse Last night we had a Harvest [closest approach] moon eclipse. This is also sometimes called a Blood moon due to the reddish cast caused by the earth's atmosphere. The next time this will occur will be 2033. Notice the star in the upper left corner. This picture was taken at 10:00PM, 9/27/2015. #141 of 147. Thanks for viewing my gallery. JimC

I have a little point and shoot camera, so no pics for me. We went out in the pasture and watched until full eclipse. It was so awesome. Love this pic!
