"Alright! Everyone smile to the camera and say 'cheese' " Wrong word in German. Try something else. Omelet, maybe. These guys look like the typical fat German behind-the-lines officers. Live well, drive transports, only need be on the look out for occasional enemy planes. Good paint job here. There seems to be a bit of superiority and arrogance in the poses and faces. The officers at the front line were well trained and almost skinny from wearing off lots of energy and not enough food or time to eat it. A lot more can be read into this photo. Keep up the good work. :-)

Hi man. You describe it very good, sharp observation too.These German officers were in a better situation, then the common soldiers who had to do the dirty work. I'me glad you noticed this, very good!!! Salute, Gerrit.
