Description
This old building is a classic example of being the 'worst' building on the 'best' block in town. It's an old apartment building that now looks terribly out of place against the modern polished shards of glass, but I think it still has a certain charm. Anyway, I was looking at it through my long lens, and was instantly struck by this plant that stood out against the surrounding bleakness. The whole scene reminded me of the cover of Led Zeppelin IV for some reason! I shot this from the ground looking 10 floors up....yes I counted them!

Yes I bought my new place in June, but the photo was shot in a completely different area and from the ground.

Juliet, Juliet wherefore are you Juliet.
Nice shot.

They add dignity to the structure. And the decorated courtains do the same for the window

Well seen! I could not live more than 3 floors up anywhere, but I should prefer to be in an old building to a new one!

These old buildings always hold their own special charm, and I used to have that album. Great shot.
