At first, thank you for the nice comments and favorits to my last Image: "Man with Pet"
It means a lot to me!
Very few people know: The beautiful Nefertiti had a little half-sister. Her name was Mutnedjmet. Both have the same father. The vizier Eje. First Mudnedjemet was mentioned as a caregiver for the children Akhenaten. She was given to the soldiers and army leader Horemheb for his wife. After Akhenaten's death and after Tutankhamen died, Eje took over the affairs of Egypt and was actively supported by Horemheb. Yes, Eje was lack of a successor even crowned Pharaoh. He died in the fourth year of reign and Horemheb succeeded him. Thus, not only Nefertiti was a Great Royal Wife, but also her sister Mudnedjmet. Obviously, she died during the birth of her child, which the baby also did not survive. And so the dynasty died out after Horemheb death. After that Horemheb vizier, Ramses I was crowned with the double crown of Egypt and founded the dynasty of Ramessides.
