Description

More from the Asian Art Museum on our day out with Denise, Lucinda, and James. Those orange lawn chairs were quite popular as photographic subjects! After we walked around and took a bunch of pictures of the buildings and the chairs, this is where we stopped to take a break. We pulled those comfy chairs over into the shade and just kicked back for a while. Today Bill and I drove from Torrington, Wyoming to Ogallala, Nebraska. We had a terrific time in Torrington visiting an old friend who we'd been missing since he moved away, but we weren't crazy about the lack of internet service in that area. Tonight we're wallowing in our ability to be on line, getting caught up on what we've missed the past few days. :)

They look so casual, scattered around the steps like this; I think we probably left them in a much more purposeful mood!

The best sort of committee where they mainly keep their mouths shut.

Beautiful image and love the title! I believe more creative work and ideas would be created if everyone had staff meetings in places like this. :)

Looks like most staff meetings I ever attended, slightly disorganized. Maybe its because I'm re-acclimating to U.S. politics, the Kardashians and other trivia but I am reminded of something Robin Williams once said. "Sometimes I feel like a chair. All day long it's 'Oops, here comes another asshole!'"

Lovely, lovely Tara. See you in mind, and of course, if I was allowed, I would sit with you on this orange chairs. Have fun on your journey, Bill and Tara. With many greetings to The Staff!!! 👋

deep clarity in this, Tara, in shape and hue. I see that fountain again---I assume it's the same---spraying its thin spray in front of the fluted recess. But, with the beige of the walls, the greens of the bushes, and the deep dark greens of the right-background, those red chairs really stand out. They're the "stars" of the shot. And you have them in a configuration that's like conversation: Connections and spaces. It's an abstract of bold sections and hues. And it has a tranquility all the same. Beautifully done, with real clarity of shape and hue. A wonderful shot.
