What a hoot. At first I thought they both were asleep until I noticed the woman's foot a few inches off the ground getting ready to stand up. Marvelous.

Something very endearing about this. There they are with their satchels and sensible shoes and hats. One can imagine they have been together for many years, still take daily walks and call each other pet names. A wonderful candid shot and the sepia tone is perfect.
